Master of Community Leadership (MCL)

Visionary, Transformative Leadership for
Today鈥檚 Faith-based Justice Movements and Nonprofits

Eden鈥檚 Master of Community Leadership program is designed for students who are called to the work of justice and compassion in organizing or nonprofit leadership. The courses of the MCL program will bring you together with people like you, who are passionate about a more just, equitable, and caring world. Your coursework will build leadership skills, strengthen your ability to develop relationships and movements for change, and provide theological and biblical foundations for the work of advocacy, movement building, and nonprofit leadership. Eden鈥檚 contextual education program will provide supervised learning opportunities with an organization doing important work to ensure that you have experience by the time you graduate.

Then, your thesis project will give you a chance to develop your leadership in a specialized area of ministry. Your thesis project could focus on faith-based community organizing, nonprofit startups, social enterprise, spiritual entrepreneurship, a non-traditional ministry, or a host of other specializations that will help you move toward the kind of work to which you feel called.
